AMCP Foundation Poster Mentors
AMCP Foundation is seeking volunteers to lend their expertise as a mentor to the student, resident/fellow and graduate student non-reviewed poster presenters. The poster abstracts are usually projects where data is not available at the time of submission, but may be available at the time of the meeting. The goal is to elevate presentation skills and managed care understanding among the next generation of pharmacy leaders. Your knowledge of research and presentation skills is beneficial to the presenter's and will provide them with a rewarding experience.
Poster presentations are held during AMCP Nexus 2019.
What is expected of a Poster Mentor?
A poster mentor prepares the poster presenter to speak about their research by visiting assigned posters, asking questions of the presenter and providing feedback. Onsite, the poster mentors are expected to spend 5-15 minutes with a selection of poster presenters on Thursday, October 31. Mentors will only be assigned to poster presenters in the student and resident/fellow non-reviewed categories.
All poster mentors will receive a ribbon at registration.
